Where the data center using Apple's iCloud turbine / generator is the source of 60% from coal to run its electric power.

Quoted from Ubergizmo on Thursday (02.08.12) and the increase in the iTunes service is now able to handle the content of the film, will further exacerbate the situation. Gary Cook, senior analyst at Greenpeace said that Apple is known for its innovation, but using very cheap resources is not innovative.

Just imagine if the user is watching a movie from iCloud would require enormous resources where environmental impact will be increasingly destroyed, added Gary. Greenpeace suggests Apple to use renewable resources such as solar and wind energy to their data centers.

Compared with Facebook, Yahoo and Google, Apple clearly lags behind these companies is to have a more tolerant environment by using environmentally friendly energy such as Google that have implemented solar power for their cloud computing services.
