Route 5
WHAT. DID. YOU. EXPECT? Cheren Battle #5
This kid is everywhere. At least he offers
good money. After the fight the
Gym
Leader drags you along. Watch the scene. Your Pokemon will get healed
and
you have to fight a double battle!
After you beat these kids there are a few
trainers on this lot to beat.
After
you beat them, or not, make your way to the west to find Cheren and
the
Gym Leader. Watch the cool bridge scene.
Run across the bridge. If you see a shadow,
step on it. It's either an item
or
a Pokemon. Either way, keeping going west.
Make your way into to town to find Cheren. .
. That guy is just everywhere,
isn't
he? Anyways, after the scene explore the town. The second house you
will
come across has a trade. Check out the big building all the way to the
west;
it's a market.
In the market, talk to a guy with a black
suit, he'll give you an Expert
Belt.
Enter the market from the westside to find a _SHINYORBTHING_
If you're playing Black: Behind the market
(westside) there is a biker
riding
back and forth. Talk to him and answer "yes" two times to have a
rotational
3vs3 fight.
That's about all you can do for now. Head to
the south to find the...
Follow the road down and then west and then
Cheren will come up to you.
Enter
the warehouse. Ice puzzles!
Head up (not up the stairs) until you see the
first puzzle:
1. Slide up on the leftmst tile
2. Right
3. Down
4. Pick up TM55
5. Slide up
6. Left
7. Up
8. Right
Go left and slide across the next
"puzzle":
1. Slide left
Head up the stairs and to the right for the
next puzzle:
1. Slide right
2. Slide up
3. Slide left
4. Slide down
Follow the green containers and head up the stairs.
Follow the brown
containers
and head down the stairs. Go left and then up for the next
"puzzle":
1. Slide up from the left two tiles
The only way you could have screwed up this
puzzle was by sliding up from
the
wrong tile. Head up. Head left, but not up the stairs. When you approach
an
open container, Cheren catches up with you.
In the container are 8 Plasma Grunts ganging
up on a man. The grunts then
form
a line, talk to each grunt and fight them, no worries you don't have to
fight
each one of them. (from right to left)
The Gym Leader then barges in and arrests the
grunts. Exit the warehouse.
Head
to the northern part of the City and then to the east to the gym. You'll
find
Team Plasma in front of the gym. When they leave, enter the gym.
Step on the platform and press the Green down
button. Beat the first
trainer
and press the green down button to his right. Step on the platform
to
the north of the one you're one and press its purple up button to fight a
trainer.
If you have, come back down and step on the ledge on the north wall
and
head left. Battle the trainer. Step on the platform and press the green
down
button. Stepping on the right platform leads to an extra trainer. Step
on
the platform to the north and go up. Step on the ledge on the north wall
and
head right. Fight the trainer and step on the platform and go down.
You'll receive badge #5 and Pokemon up to
level 60 will obey you now.
Try to exit the town to the west and Bianca
will come up and stop you for
a
battle...
Bianca Battle #4
After the battle, she'll give you HM2, Fly.
Which you now can use. Heal up
or
do whatever you like, when ready, head west to...
Follow the route until you hit a house. From
now on, a POokeball in the
grass
might also be a Pokemon named "Tamagetake", who has a Pokeball-shaped
head.
You can still use the list above to see which Pokeballs are items and
which
aren't.
Note: The second house acts as a PokeCenter!
Go north from the second house to reach...
Examine the gold spider web and the Gym
Leader of Hodomoe approaches. He
gives
you TM78 and walks off. Enter the cave.
Oh no! N! He asks you a question, answer
anything, it doesn't matter and he
will
leave you alone. Resume your course and approach the blue crystal. Bianca
should
appear as should the Professor. The Professor will give you a Lucky
Egg.
Push the crystal out of your way and continue
north. When you reach the
next
crystal push it out of your way as well and go up the stairs. Go right
and
reach two crystals next to each other. Push the top one left and the
bottom
one down and carry on.
After the Professor and Bianca stop talking
go south until you reach a
bridge.
After being taken across, push the crystal down and carry on. Head
down
the staircase.
When you come to the path split with the two
guys, head left to return to
the
entrance. Head right to find a doctor who can heal you after you beat
him.
Go north and find some Grunts.
In this room, go up to meet N. Going down is
an optinal path with some
trainers
and items. Go upstairs.
To the east is N, to the west some trainer
and the area where you left
Bianca
and the Professor. Go see N and answer "yes" for some fun:
Exit the cave...
Walking north past the POokeCenter triggers a
scene. Watch the Gym Leader
go
east and follow him (there isn't much to do here anyway).
The first appearance of the brown ledges! You
can walk on these to skip
the
patches of grass. If necessary you can also jump off of them.
Make your way up north. When you come to a
split in the road, heading right
will
trigger a phone call from your mother. Going north leads to the
Tower
of Heaven.
Make your way up the tower. It's pretty
straightforward, so I'll assume
you
need no help in getting to the top. Beat the nurse on F3 to have a
healing
point.
When you reach the top, approach the Gym
Leader. Examine the bell and
answer
"yes". The leader will leave. Exit the tower as well.
Go back to Fukiyose City and find the gym on
the landing strip...
Approach the first cannon and press A. You'll
get shot away to a platform.
Use
the cannon on the left. Go down the stairs and use the cannon again.
Take
the stairs that go up and use the cannon in the south. Fly across.
On
this platform, approach the cannon from the south. After being shot again,
use
the cannon here. Use that same cannon again, this time from the other
side.
Go up the stairs and use the cannon there. Use the next cannons as you
fly
through some hoops and against a wall. Use this cannon and end up in
front
of the Leader:
You'll receive Badge #6 and TM62. Pokemon up
to lvl 70 will obey you.
To exit use the cannon from the north. N will
be waiting outside. No
worries,
he's only there to chat.
Go up route 7, take the eastern path and
you'll arrive in...
When you want to head up the stairs...
Cheren Battle #6
It's been a while, so you must have expected
him. He's not that hard. If you
find
he is, go back to do some more training. You will get HM3 from the next
Gym
Leader.
Enter the cave and find Cheren again with
Hodomoe's Gym Leader. Follow
Cheren.
Walk the wooden edge south and enter the cave again. Follow the
corridor
sputh and take the last corridor north and exit the cave.
Go north and enter the cave. When you reach a
split, go south and through
the
door. Follow the corridor and exit the cave.
Go west and enter the cave. Take the second
corridor north and head east at
the
top. Exit the cave. The trainer here is a doctor. Beat him to get a
healing
point.
Head north and enter the first cave. Head
north on the first intersection.
Go
through the door. Head south at the intersetion and exit the cave.
Buy some refreshments if you need some and
head towards the eastern cave.
Find
Cheren and the grunts. After you regain control, head east and exit the
cave.
The building east of the gym has some sort of
a quiz going on. I'm not
sure
what you need to answer, but failing it gives you a Parlyz Heal.
That's all there is to do really. Gym-time!

New Room after you slided across the ramp:

5. Slide down so you'll hit the wooden
construction
6. Slide right
7. Walk down the dirt path
8. Slide left towards the cruved wooden
construction
9. Slide up to the button
10. Slide up
11. Slide left
12. Slide down from the arrow like dirt
Go up the stairs and slide across the gap to
find the next room:
1. Slide left
2. Slide up
3. Slide right
4. Slide up
5. Slide right
6. Slide up
7. Slide up
8. Step on button
9. Slide right
10. Slide down
11. Slide left
12. Slide down
13. Slide left
14. Slide up
Go up the staircase to find the Gym Leader:
You'll receive badge 7 and tM79. Pokemon up
to level 80 will obey you now.
Exit the gym by taking the slide to the west.
Outside you'll find Bianca and Cheren. The
gym leader will rush out and N's
minions
appear out of nowhere. Cheren and the leader run off after the minions
and
you should follow them to...
Before you can enter the forest, you'll
receive an old gateau. Enter the
forest.
Never mind the Grunt, make way to the tower and enter it.
Make your way across the room and try to head
up the stairs. You will
hear
a sound. Go upstairs. Watch Cheren call you and leave. Go up and head
right.
Walk up the fallen pillars and head left to where Cheren was.
Leave the room and head up the spiralling
stairs. A jumping puzzle!
1. Jump down
2. Take the bottom of the three jumps
Head up the stairs and go through the door.
Walk past Cheren and the Gym
Leader
and make your way to the staircase and through the door.
Jumping puzzle room:
1. Go right
2. Move towards the inner circle
3. Go right
4. Move towards the inner circle
5. Move left
6. Move towards the inner circle
7. Move right
8. Jump
9. Move towards the outer circle
10. Move left
11. Move towards the outer circle
12. Move right
13. Move towards the outer circle
14. Move left up the stairs
Make your way through this room until you
find a lot of grunts standing
around
a man. The grunts will gang up on you:
Take the staircase to the south. Find N and
the box Legendary of the
oppsite
game. The legendary Pokemon flies off with N. Cheren and the Leader
take
you outside.
In Sekka City, use the eastern exit to
reach...
